What should I do first when I get my baby and toddler Medi Kit?
Open and check all the contents. Read through ALL the material including the Parent Help Guide and First Aid Guide. Ensure that your baby or child is not allergic or intolerant to any of the medication and or contents. You must check the expiration dates on all medication and or content before use or administration.
Please discard any medicines that have passed their expiration date. The only safe way to discard of medicine is to hand it in at your nearest pharmacy.
Do I need to consult my doctor or paediatrician before using or administering any of the medication contained in the kit?
You must consult with your Health Care Provider (Doctor / Paediatrician) before using or administering any of the medication contained within the kit. Your Health Care Provider can advise you on dosages and check if your child is allergic to or intolerant of any of the products or content contained in the kit.
What are some of the symptoms it aims to help you with?
- Pain and Fever Colic
- Teething Diarrhea Vomiting
- Ear ache Nasal care Nappy Rash Burns
- Cuts and Bruises Insect Bites and Stings
What do I do if any of the symptoms persist?
You MUST always contact your Doctor / Paeditrician /Health Care Provider if the symptoms persist.
Does it contain antibiotics?
The kit does not contain antibiotics. Antibiotics are by prescription only. Please consult your Doctor / Paeditrician /Health Care Provider about further information regarding antibiotics.
What do I do if I am unsure about the dosage to give my baby/ child?
You must always consult your Doctor / Paeditrician /Health Care Provider about the correct dosages to administer to babies / toddlers. You must always read the instructions on the medication (and sundries) before using or administering them. The instructions can usually be found on the packaging/labels/leaflet/ the bottle/ sachet/ tub/ tube etc.
What do I do if my child is allergic to or intolerant of any of the products or content contained in the kit?
You must always check with your Doctor / Paeditrician /Health Care Provider before using the kit or any of its contents to ensure that your child is not allergic to or intolerant of any of the products or content contained in the kit. Always read the labels/instructions on the medication before using or administering.
DO NOT use or administer any of the products or items that your child is allergic to or intolerant of. Remove these items from your Medi Kit. Medicines can be properly disposed of at your local pharmacy.
What do I do in the case of an emergency?
You MUST always contact your Doctor / Pediatrician /Health Care Provider in the event of an emergency, or if the symptoms persist.

Medi Kit. Collection is FREE. Arrangements for local deliveries within the Umhlanga area can be made with one of our agents, however this is subject to a R90 delivery fee.
Where do you ship to?
While our Head Office is based in KZN, we will endeavour to ship to anywhere in South Africa. The cost for shipping (per item) is approximately R95 (depending on our courier rate). Please contact us to discuss your options and if you are eligible for discounted shipping rates.
What should I do if I am not happy about my baby and toddler Medi Kit?
Please use the Contact Form (on the Contact page) to get in touch with us, clearly explaining your grievance. One of our Customer Care Consultants will aim to get back to you as soon as possible, however, please allow up to 24hrs for a response. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause

- Use of your Baby & Toddler Medi Kit should not replace consultation with your doctor. When in doubt, rather take your child to the doctor. Your Baby & Toddler Medi Kit must be kept out of reach of children at all times.

- You must read the instructions on the labels/bottle/tube/sachet/packaging/contents before use and if you are unsure about any of the content (including dosages), please contact your Doctor / Paediatrician. Dosages are normally dependent on the weight of the baby/toddler.
- Ensure all bottles/tubes (especially the Mercurochrome if present) is properly sealed/closed to avoid any leakage or spillage.
- Ensure the Baby & Toddler Medi Kit and its contents are kept in a cool and dry place.
- Please note that the contents including, but not limited to the Guides/Help Notes and Medication (including sundries) are by no means a substitute for trained, professional medical advice and service.
- Over the counter medication should not be given to infants and small children without talking with your child's health care provider first.
- ALWAYS CONSULT A DOCTOR IF THE SYMPTOMS PERSIST AND IN THE CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
